UP CM visits KGMU, Dr Lohia Hospital to meet road mishap survivors

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited KGMU on Sunday to meet survivors of the road accident, which took place near Mari Mata Temple in Arjunganj.

The patients are undergoing treatment in the Critical Care Medicine and Critical Care Unit of the KGMU.

The CM went to Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital to inquire about the condition of the injured admitted there. He visited each patient in both hospitals’ wards and had conversations with them.

On being asked by the Chief Minister regarding any concerns related to the treatment, the injured patients told him that the doctors were providing appropriate treatment and continuously monitoring their condition.

CM Yogi also directed the doctors at KGMU to ensure no negligence in the treatment of the patients and take special care of their diet.

After inquiring about the well-being of the patients, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also interacted with their relatives, assuring them that the best possible treatment was being provided to their patients.

He told them to inform the hospital administration immediately in case of a problem so that it could be resolved promptly.

Later, during his visit to the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, CM Yogi inquired about the well-being of the injured admitted there. He spoke to each patient and provided necessary directions to the hospital management.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the demise of the two injured individuals on Sunday morning during treatment at KGMU.

He consoled the families of the deceased and announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh for the families of each victim. In addition, an announcement was made to provide a financial aid amount of Rs 50,000 to the families of the injured.
